Imperial Porcelain Manufacture

Just 300 years ago people didn't have a slightest idea of how the porcelain is made. Chinese people properly  kept the secret of so-called «white-gold» production. Items made of porcelain were given to Royal Family, it was used for Ceremonial Halls decorations. And if these items were broken their pieces were  set in gold and worn as accessories. In 1746 an outstanding Russian scientist reveled porcelain secret - he had been experimenting with clay and burning for 12 years. As a result our viewers can witness all the stages of modern porcelain production - starting with processing of feldspar up to painting of refined items.
