One of the most difficult-to-reach places in the Komi Republic’s Northern Urals is home to a natural formation whose origin is surrounded by scientific hypotheses and ancient legends. Seven giant rock formations stand on the flat top of a mountain. The Manpupuner rock formations are incredible, mysterious and one of Russia’s seven wonders. Until recently only the most courageous and toughest of travellers were able to admire this miracle of nature, but now visiting Manpupuner both cheaply and comfortably is possible.
