The Volga delta has more than 500 ducts, arms and streams which are home to more than 60 species of fish – huge pike, pike-perch, carp and catfish. Many roach and vobla fish flock here as well. With such high numbers of fish, even the most inexperienced of fishermen bring home a catch. RTG TV presenter Stanislav Salnikov set off to a fishing camp in the Kamyzyaksky Region of Arkhangelskaya Oblast to cast his line in the rich Volga waters.
