The Aviacor aviation plant in Samara is one of the largest aviation enterprises in Russia. The aircraft that have been being produced at this plant for over 70 years have been recorded in the history of world aviation as outstanding examples of engineering. And although the factory has always been openly famous for its craft, the plant’s territory itself is completely closed to the public. Nowadays the Aviacor aviation plant specialises in the construction and maintenance of Tupolev Tu-154s and Antonov An-140s.
