Azerbaijan, known by many as «The Land of Fire», is a country with a rich history and many fascinating sights definitely worth seeing for yourself. Flames became the symbol of Azerbaijan long ago when all over the Apsheron Peninsula mysterious and eternal flames sprang from the earth. This area is home to more than a third of the planet’s mud volcanos with naphthalan oil deposits located in the western part of the country. These oils, with their many healing properties help to naturally cure a number of ailments. Russian Travel Guide presenter Igor Maximenko set off for northern Azerbaijan to check out the country’s natural beauty as well as its many charming sights.
