The Geography of Taste. Kung Pao Chicken

Eight different culinary traditions have been identified in China. One of them is Sichuan. The cuisine from this province is known for its striking tastes and the heat of its wealth of spices, as it’s packed with garlic, spicy peppers and nuts. There are some notable hits amongst its wide variety of dishes. One such dish, is Kung Pao chicken! Igor Vukolov adores this dish, never failing to sample it when in China, and also heading to China Town in other cities around the world to feed his Kung Pao hunger. He tries all the local varieties, noting down the recipes on his telephone! In the Chinese neighborhood in Bangkok, our RTG host found what he believes to be the finest recipe for his beloved dish. He’s now ready to share it with us, in the Geography of Taste. It’ll be striking, spicy, and, of course, delicious!
