The Geography of Taste. Seafood and Onion Rings in Batter

Igor Vukolov doesn’t just love delicious food – he also loves traveling. He’s also a fan of fishing. Together with RTG TV, he’s fished in some of the most amazing spots in Russia – on Lake Ladoga and in the Valdai region, on the Volga River and in the Baltic Sea, he’s even been to Yamal and the Kamchatka Peninsula! He has some favourite spots abroad too. And every time he visits them, he not only brings back a trophy catch – he also brings back some fascinating recipes to cook what he’s hooked with. The dish that Igor will be making in this episode of the Geography of Taste originated in Norway. The recipe was created by amateur anglers from various countries who were waiting out the storms on the shore. Among them, our very own Igor Vukolov! We’re making seafood and onion rings in batters with three different sauces!
