RTG TV host Andrey Ivanov headed off to the south of Russia to go ice fishing at the Tsimlyansk Reservoir. The man-made sea appeared in the middle of the last century as part of an ambitious project that brought together two impressive rivers: The Volga and the Don. The many species of fish found in these waters attract those who love to fish all year round. For good luck, the fishermen feed the fish nuts and biscuits before they catch them. With a little advice from the locals, Andrey managed to hook a predator from under the ice, which he later had to escape from.
