Vegetarian cuisine plays an important role in many peoples’ culinary traditions. In Russian cuisine for example, such dishes include potato pancakes (draniki), sauerkraut and the oh-so-famous Russian porridge. Despite the wide variety of tasty choices already available, chefs continue to conduct their culinary experiments. RTG TV host Maria Mumicheva learned this for herself when she visited the Ukrop café and, with the help of the head chef, learned how to prepare pineapple risotto, herbed cutlets and cheesecake with a date crust.
