Siberian pelmeni at the U Kamina restaurant

«Pelmeni» — or meat dumplings — are a type of magic wand for any housewife. In the past, these dumplings were prepared (and often frozen) in great amounts over a period of two to three days and involved the participation of the whole family. After just a few minutes in boiling water, pelmeni become the perfect lunch or dinner. Under the direction of «U kamina» (By the Fireside) restaurant’s head-chef Alexei Travkin, RTG TV host Natalya Krylova prepared real Siberian pelmeni.
