It is in Diveyevo, an old city located in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast and known throughout Russia and abroad, that the Holy Trinity Seraphim Diveyevo Monastery can be found. People have traveled far and wide to this place for hundreds of years in hopes of attaining peace and joy as well as finding or strengthening their faith. By many it is considered a unique and special place on Earth that the Virgin Mary has taken under her wing. The monastery is home to some of the greatest relics in the Christian world including the relics of Saint Seraphim of Sarov. In accordance with the saint’s orders, a Holy Ditch was built inside the monastery. Believers read a prayer to the Mother of God as they walk along it.
