The book of man’s scientific and technical achievements is constantly being written, becoming longer and longer as time goes on and as people’s knowledge continues to grow. Samara, an old Russian city situated on the Volga River, is a separate bright chapter in this book dedicated to the Space Age. For more than 50 years in Samara space rockets, which have gained recognition throughout the world for their simplicity and reliability, have been being produced at the Progress factory.
