Winter Baikal

Baikal in winter is something really outstanding! What can compare with dazzling sun, cloudless sky and ice expanse? The scientists arrived at a conclusion that the lake appeared as a result of huge rupture of Earth crust. Baikal is often called «Sacred Sea». There is a reason for the word «Sea», since there are a lot of islands on water expanse, the greatest of which is Olkhon. It's the heart of Baikal. It even has lake-form contours.
