Kinza — a Restaurant of Herbs and Spices

Whether you know it as cilantro or coriander, these are only a couple of the names for the flavourful herb used in kitchens around the globe. In different parts of the world this plant is known as Arabic, Mexican and Chinese parsley. Coriander is particularly popular in the Northern Caucasus, and in the Russian city of Krasnodar the importance of the petite but powerful green herb has been highlighted by a restaurant named in its honour. There chefs are known for generously seasoning their dishes with various herbs and spices. RTG host Olga Degtyareva learned how to make a delicious salad with coriander, spinach-filled vareniki (dumplings) and a rose petal halva.
